“I worked with James on an Oracle Migration project where he was the technical architect/lead. James was instrumental in ensuring that all technical aspects of the migration was covered and without James on the project we would not have managed to migrate the application and database within the short period of time. I would highly recommend James.”

"Rarely have I had the fortune to work with someone who is so professional, diligent and technically capable, and without doubt your knowledge and technical proficiency have ensured that not only the migration of the Oracle Business Suite application was a success, but your support to the other teams has ensured that key issues in their implementations were solved as well. If the opportunity presented itself in the future to employ your services again I would do this without hesitation"

Small Architectures

Following the implementation and go-live phase of a project comes the support phase. It is vital at this point that the resources and processes are in place so that the system can continue to run smoothly into the future. An effective set of support processes will be able to monitor, improve and handle change in a live system. Attention to these details means that the support business can answer the business' questions regarding the system.

- How long will the current hardware last?
- How long was the system available for last month?
- How long would the system be down for in the event of a disaster?
- How many people does it take to run the system?

We have extensive experience in implementing and running systems using all the major monitoring and trending tools. Using this knowledge and our own project based knowledge of how to build the right team and monitor the right components we can answer all these questions before they are even asked.

Examples of potential support offerings

  • Implementation of Oracle Grid Control to centralise the management of Oracle technology.

  • Creation of policies for Oracle RMAN to assist in reporting backup success, failure and expiry.
