The implementation or delivery of a technology system usually takes place after all architectural decisions have been made and the organisation is putting together a project task and resource plan. At this stage the organisation will become heavily invested in the project and the practical aspects of putting the system together take centre stage.
At this stage we can assist with all technical aspects of the deployment, from the moment the software is delivered to the day the system goes live.
Examples of previous implementation engagements:
- A central government customer deploying Oracle on the public internet. Services were provided to plan and implement this deployment using the appropriate Oracle technologies. Following review from a third party security firm security hardening was provided to mitigate risk from malicious attacks on the website. The project was conducted under strict timelines and the initial deployment of the software (using Oracle 11i techniques such as: shared application tier, DMZ and SSL) was completed to schedule in 14 days.
- A european consultancy company wanted to showcase new hardware with an installation of Oracle e-Business Suite R12. Services were provided to implement a three node RAC and three node application tier installation along with management by Oracle Grid Control. The implementation was completed along with full documentation, technical knowledge transfer and a customer demonstration within the project timeline of 20 days.
